Under the theme Fly Green – Launching intothe future, the second edition program has two objectives: review the accomplishments of GARDN’s first mandate and evaluate the industry needs in view of the potential renewal of funding. Mr. Robert Deluce, Chief Executive Officer of Porter, is the Honorary President of the Conference.
Cooperation Agreement
GARDN has signed a cooperation agreementwith Air Transport Action Group to promote environmental research in aviation. ATAG is a coalition of organizations and companies in the air transport industry committed to bringing about environmental and infrastructure improvements through cross-industry cooperation.
Evergreen Brick Works
This gathering took place at Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto. The site is home to the Centre for Green Cities, a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum building. Evergreen Brick Works is an international showcase for urban sustainability and green design and one of the world’s top 10 geotourism destinations, according to National Geographic.
